As a 2,4GHz radio for our customers, we wanted to have the best possible 2,4GHz RC-system, better than every existing system out of the 1st generation. Our demand was very high, as the existing systems are already working quite good. But we made all efforts to reach our goal.

We wanted to have the technical maximum for radio control with 2,4Ghz technology and we didn`t want to use usual, simple modifications of data transmission systems.

The S3D-System of the 2nd generation is based on a maximum of security on the transmission path and for highest application comfort. These goals we have reached with:

  • Transmitter antenna in the front of the transmitter, only in this position the best radiation can be guaranteed
  • Always 2x active working 2,4Ghz systems, in transmitter and receiver. For highest data rates, hardware redundancy and transmission and reception diversity
  • Simple mechnical conversion for existing transmitters
  • Bi-directional data communication, the receiver transmitts data to the transmitter, for telemetry and security
  • Hardware Redundancy and Data redundancy
  • Dual FHSS frequency hopping, 2 x 100mW output power
  • Antenna screw system, type SMA
  • Bi polar transmitter- and receiver antenna
  • Down link system for model and receiver data and external sensor data
  • Up to 16 proportional channels
  • High speed data transmission

A transmission system with 2 antenna at transmitter is perhaps a bit unusual, OK. But the special physcis on 2,4Ghz can`t be “duped” (with only 1 antenna). To be the fastest and the most secure user on the 2,4GHz data highway, it needs such kind of technology. Like seen on most of the high class WLan routers. All these are equiped with 2(or more) antenna and 2 internal, independant working systems.

the 2 transmitter antenna must be placed in front of the transmitter, with a certain distance between each other

With the ACT S3D conversion, all existing transmitters can be extended to 2,4ghz, in addition to the existing frequency in the transmitter.

An S3D-2,4GHz-extending system consists of:

The S3D-System was developped for the conversion of existing transmitters to the new 2,4GHz technology, using the 2,4Ghz advantages with the comfortable frequency management.

The  S3D-System can be used with existing transmitters, the so far used frequencies (35/72Mhz) can be used further more. So far used models can be used with 35/72 Mhz, new models can be equiped with the latest 2,4GHz technology.

The S3D-System can even be installed in a  transmitter tray. Tx module and Tx antenna are installed in the tray. Then, the transmitter itself doesn`t need any change or conversion.

The S3D-system consists of a Tx-module 2,4 Ghz, which can be connected with adaptor leads to every existing transmitter.

The S3D Tx-module 2,4 Ghz is very small and flat, it can be attached outside of a transmitter, installed internally or in the module space of the transmitter or in the transmitter tray.

Every TX-module is working with 2 internal 2,4GHz transceiver systems and PA with fully duplex diversity technology.

The S3D systems offers 4 different types of receivers, 10 channel,  8 channel, and 6 channel, 4 channel or a combination of alle 4 types for to extend the amount of channels and servo outputs. The system supplies up to 16 channels, and up to 40 independant, separately adjustable servo outputs. 

Each receiver  works with 2 internal 2,4GHz transceiver systems with fully duplex diversity technology. Each receiver has 2 antenna, at S3D-8 and S3D-10 the antenna are with screw sockets for best and practical installation.

All S3D receivers can be linked via a DSL data lead. In that case, 4 transceiver systems are active in reception and are working together as a 3-D diversity system, the highest reception security which can be reached.

All S3D receivers can be set up with the SPS system.
